Ain't nothin wrong with a little hope. Written and recorded for the Summer 2019 Music From the Moon Songwriting Contest, "Where We Stood" reflects on the 50th Anniversary of the Appollo 11 moon landings, taking them in as testimony to human capacity in cooperation Hey, if we can put a man on the moon, maybe we can heal our own planet.
I recorded this one with Hannah Prizznick in the living room of Dawn's historic southside home. If you listen closely, you can hear boards creaking.
